“I truly owe so much to the Fukunaga Scholarship. The scholarship marked my first introduction to a professional network that genuinely shaped my early career.

It played a pivotal role in facilitating two internships for me: Hawaii Pacific Health and Diamond Bakery, where I eventually landed my first job after college.”

Ryan T., Director, Servco Marketing

“Without the Fukunaga scholarship it would have been near impossible to go to college on the mainland, which accelerated my global thinking and relationships.

The generosity of the program also imprinted an unwavering commitment to return home to contribute to Hawaiʻi’s economy.”

Kim H., Brand Manager, Servco Marketing

“The Fukunaga Scholarship gave me more than just financial support. It gave me a real sense of pride and confidence.

Knowing that others believed in my potential helped me believe in myself and motivated me to stay focused, work hard, and pursue opportunities that aligned with my goal of becoming a director one day.”

Judy R., Director, Servco Marketing
