Kung Hee Fat Choy! Toyota Hawaii celebrated the Lunar New Year in partnership with South Shore Market at the New Wave Friday event this past Friday, February 16th at Ward Village in Kaka’ako.
The Chinese New Year theme attracted hundreds of event goers who enjoyed great food, a lion dance, a fashion show and best of all, a “Design Your Own Manapua” station from Toyota Hawaii. Master manapua artist, Joon Ho from Honolulu Kitchen, was on site to show guests the art of manapua decoration. Check out Honolulu Kitchen’s Facebook page here .
The Toyota Hawaii activation featured the all-new Camry and guests were also treated to complimentary Toyota Hawaii chopsticks. Over 200 guests participated in Toyota Hawaii’s manapua station and trivia game, which included answering fun facts about the 2018 Camry.
Welcoming the Year of the Dog was a success and Toyota Hawaii looks forward to the next New Wave Friday on May 5th with a Cinco De Mayo theme!
