Servco Foundation Gives $5,000 Matching Donation to Hawaii Public Radio

May 2, 2019

On Wednesday, April 3, Team Serve volunteers fielded calls at Hawaii Public Radio for their 2019 Spring Membership Drive.

As a part of Servco’s Centennial Service Campaign, the Servco Foundation pledged to match dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000, while volunteers manned the phones from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Many Hawaii Public Radio and Team Servco members called in, helping Team Serve to hit and surpass the $5,000 match goal.

Servco has been a long-time supporter of Hawaii Public Radio and as part of their 100th Anniversary, recently sponsored “The Best of Aloha Shorts—On the Road” which brought together Hawaii’s finest writers, actors, and musicians for a half-hour radio program celebrating local culture. These stories are shared at live events on Hawaii Island, Maui, and Kauai, and it was a great opportunity for Servco to engage with their neighbor island customers and dealerships.

Servco was happy to be a part of this spring pledge drive and looks forward to the ongoing partnership with Hawaii Public Radio statewide.
