April 28, 2020

HONOLULU – Servco has provided a commercial delivery truck and a Toyota Tacoma for at least 30 days to assist Malama Meals with the delivery of fresh meals to communities and kupuna at risk. Malama Meals was formed through a partnership between Aloha Venues and its affiliated partners, Aloha Beer Company, Da Spot Healthfoods, and Bluewater Shrimp in early March and are currently delivering 8,000 free meals per day to in-need groups across the island.

“As this pandemic continues to impact our lives, we are inspired to see organizations, like Malama Meals, coming together to fulfill the needs of our communities,” said Mark Fukunaga, chairman & CEO of Servco Pacific. “We are grateful for the opportunity to provide mobility to support the important work that these groups are doing. We encourage all businesses to put Aloha in action to help our communities.”

Last month, Servco provided a commercial delivery truck on Oahu and a Toyota Tacoma on Kauai to the Hawaii Foodbank, as well as a Toyota Tacoma to Aloha Harvest.

Servco plans to assist other nonprofits with delivery support on an as needed basis in the future.
