With these grants, we wanted to recognize and show our support for some of the many organizations statewide who continue to do important work throughout the state during this time.”
Select Servco team members also had the opportunity to recommend four of the nonprofit recipients for the program through their involvement with Team Serve, the company’s employee-led community service committee.
“Every year Team Serve has the opportunity to partner with the Servco Foundation to financially support local nonprofits through our Community Grant Program and allow our Servco team members get involved by nominating organizations that are important to them,” said Brenda Ly, co-chair of Team Serve. “There are so many deserving organizations and we are grateful to be able to support a few of them that are making a particularly meaningful impact during this public health and economic crisis.”
In addition to these community grants, Servco has provided a commercial delivery truck on Oahu and a Toyota Tacoma on Kauai to the Hawaii Foodbank, a Toyota Tacoma to Aloha Harvest, and a commercial delivery truck, Toyota Tacoma, and four Toyota forklifts to Malama Meals to support their efforts in addressing food insecurity.
