Subaru Hawai’i’s Annual Share the Love Campaign Donates $45,000 to Three Local Nonprofits

January 18, 2023

HONOLULU – Subaru Hawai’i today donated $45,000 to three local nonprofits as part of its 11th annual Share the Love Sales Event. For every new Subaru vehicle purchased in Hawai’i between November 1 through December 31, 2022, the automotive brand donated $250, up to $15,000 each, to three charitable causes. The funds were evenly divided evenly among the nonprofits.

This year’s beneficiaries are focused on Subaru Hawai’i’s Love Promises, areas that the brand is committed to making a difference in: Pets and Helping and Caring for people in need.

  • Hawai’i Humane Societies (Hawaiian Humane Society, Hawai’i Island Humane Society, Maui Humane Society, and Kaua’i Humane Society)
  • Hawai’i Foodbank
  • Make-a-Wish Hawai’i

“We are honored to highlight the dedication and impact that these organizations have in our communities,” said Peter Dames, executive vice president, Subaru Hawai’i and Servco Pacific Inc. “Every year, we look forward to our Share the Love campaign and supporting nonprofits as part of our commitment to our Love Promises.”

Subaru Hawai’i also partnered with its brand ambassador, Paula Fuga. Her track “Love Give it Freely” was featured throughout the campaign.

Over the past eleven years, Subaru Hawai’i has donated over $395,000 to local nonprofits through the Share the Love Sales Event.
