August 2, 2023

HONOLULU – Today, the Servco Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Servco Pacific Inc., donated $60,000 to various local nonprofit organizations statewide, as part of its 2023 Community Grant Program.

Four nonprofit organizations received $15,000 each:

  • Adult Friends for Youth
  • Domestic Violence Action Center
  • Family Promise of Hawaiʻi
  • Fur-Angel Foundation

The nonprofits were selected by the Servco Foundation based on recommendations by Team Serve, an employee-led committee at Servco Pacific Inc. that helps identify, support, and coordinate various community service events.

“We are immensely grateful to the Servco Foundation for their generosity and commitment to Family Promise of Hawaiʻi’s mission. Their donation will make a profound difference in the lives of families experiencing homelessness in our community,” said Elliot Woods, Family Promise of Hawaiʻi Director of Donor and Community Relations. “With their support, we can continue to provide shelter, resources, and stability to those in need.”

To date this year, Team Serve coordinated more than 1,200 hours of community service to support various non-profits that align with the pillar areas of Youth Services, Sustainability, Wellness, and Social Mobility.

“Team Serve partners with the Servco Foundation every year to support local nonprofits, and we are excited to give back to four organizations who have done outstanding work within our community,” said Samantha Torres, co-chair of Team Serve. “We look forward to these opportunities to uplift the communities where we live, work, and play.”
